F9 code Our Jenn-Air SVE47100 keeps giving us a code of f9. I can't find a reference to this code anywhere. The house was built in 2000, not sure age of unit. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F9 in your Jenn Air means door lock safety circuit on the power relay board sensed and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the power relay board. HI. This is concerning the relay board that is installed in your unit. I would recommend to inspect the entire wiring harness that is linking the relay board to the elements, and other power component's. If the harness is ok, and connected tightly, and correctly, this will confirm that the relay board has failed. It must be replaced in the case. Be sure to inspect all wiring harness connections for corrosion before you replace the board. This could be as simple as a failed connection.

Could be a bad door lock circuit, bad clock control(ERC) or a bad power relay board.
No quick fix. Sorry.

F9 -It is a Door latch fault code

Check door latch components.The stove is not detecting a proper door close.Or else there might be some metal blocking the door from closing.It should solve itself in few hours else you might have to replace the door latch system.Good luck with the machine.Please do post comments.Also do rate the solution.Thank you in advance.

thiknin thats a sealed unit, however imn sure they got it into a housing so i guess if you lloked close enough ther ewpuild be a few screws to gain access to the fan itself and with it open a quailty degreaser should work wonders in cleaning it!

We solved this by holding in the door/light switch, hitting "clean", then pressing stop/clear for about 3 seconds.

Since Jenn-Airs codes are F1-F9, the cicuit board may be on the way out since the code resets after you turn it off for a while.
