Question about LG Flatron 295LM 22" LCD Monitor

LG 22" Flat Screen TV

Have just purchased the above and found that the sound is awful! It sounds like the speakers are made out of old hollow tin cans! Is this normal or have you encountered any problems with the sound on LG TV's?

Don't relied on the mini-speakers, of course sound awful! It's has only 2 watts built in speakers. Try not to set at a full volume. Have fun!

We just purchased a 23"

That sounds awful. It might be a manufacturer's defect. I suggest to contact the manufacturer or just get a replacement item.

Good luck.

Loud valve rattle sound, guy i got bike from said this is normal on the 900cc sprint triumph is this true

Well my old trumpet sounded like a cuttlery draw being emptied into a tin bucket, lol... yes they DO indeed make a racket, however it shouldn't be TOO loud? As long as it sounds rhythmical and even and there are no "Tinny" (like hitting an empty tin) slapping sounds, then you should be all good.

It wouldn't hurt anything though, to give the Valves a good going over, and "set" them again. this will at least give you piece of mind, that nothing is indeed wrong. I have also found that using a synthetic oil that gets/stays? slightly thicker at running temperature, this too, helps quieten it down too. Also check the valve springs, rocker side play too, maybe it needs a shim? sometimes the springs weaken and cause a louder noise, just replace them if this is suspected. Remember though that the Triumph is a "Loose" motor and they do indeed make a racket, often until they heat up and tolerances tighten, and then it should all purrr.....

repair manual above.

Most likely a defective speaker. Try using headphones. if the sound is good there, then the speaker is bad and needs replaced. More info on this topic can be found here:

Speakers all of a sudden sound hollow.

Try a restore . Check if it is coming in bios also that way . Press all the keys on the keyboard to get sounds and see if it is hollow . If it is not in the bios just update the drivers.

switch on your speaker set in full volume unplug it from computer touch the plug , as you touch you can hear a sound ( loud hum sound) if the speaker is working. Jensen JMP 50 sounds like I am in a tunnel or well.

Have you powered up the speakers have you checked the sound drivers?? but remember the sound of the Jensen JMP-50s is a bit hollow and lacking in bass, and the speakers do lack bass and treble controls, which can often be found in other speakers in the same price range.

Well, there are three possibilities:
1st, the jack is not pushed in all the way on one or more connections.
2nd, If you have an onboard soundcard, check the sound settings. You can see them by going to Start---->All Programs---->Accessories---->Entertainment---->Volume Control. Under Volume control, click Advanced and check or uncheck the loudness. Also 3-Depth could be checked or adjusted as this too can cause a tinny sound.
3rd, If you have a sound card, you should check all the settings on it too. Check this by pressing Start---->Run, type in " dxdiag " and press enter. Once the information is collected, go to the Sound tab and check your sound card. You can also troubleshoot it here to. Any questions, dont hesitate to ask. Good luck!
