Powers on but just clicks

Hi,If you hear continueous clicking most likely is t an issue with the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.But if you dont hear it often and tv is between 1-2 yrs most likely it's time to replace the lamp.

That's just the relay switch in the power supply trying to come on. Because it clicks right off it sounds like you may have a short in the circuit (power supply or high voltage). Get it looked at by a professional.

I have seen this symptom when the vertical output IC has cracked or burned out, and the set is shutting down to protect the CRT's. When you press the power button the computer clicks the main relay and the set powers up, but a fault is immediately detected and the computer shuts the relay off, giving that double click sound. The circuit should be repaired by someone with experience.
