My polaroid will not power up when i try to turn it on the blue light comes on but no sound or picture before when it started doingit i had to unplug it a few times till it would turn on. any body have a solution?

It can be the main board or the power supply, look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

What's the brand and model # please. If I had 3 guesses I would say Polaroid Element or Proview

It sounds like it is the picture tube. The same thing just happened to me. The back of my television started smoking and then there was no picture.

Replace 3-4 bulging capasitors on power supply board. 16volt. 1000mf.

Symptom shows that Mani Board is bad in your TLX-03210B Polaroid TV and need to be replaced. I do not see problem of capacitors in power supply board. Problem seems in system control section of TV that is located on main board.
