Nintendo Controller Will Only Work on Menu with Classic Controller

My WII remote will not work on the main menu, unless it's plugged into the WII classic controller. Once I get past the main menu to play a game, the WII controller will work just fine without the classic controller being connected. I have tried syncing both my controllers numerous times and also tried pressing the red button on the front of the WII controller and holding it for 15 seconds to remove all WII sync data. The problem still exists. Any suggestions.

Hello what's a thts? I've changed the batteries and I have this same problem with both my controllers.

remote play everything but it wo'n rumble. Please let me know the problem

Well iv had this problem it could be the remote you might have to buy a new thts what happened with my brand new remote for it or it could be that it has crapy batteries

2ND PLAYER WII REMOTE WON'T WORK ON JUST DANCE

take the battery cover off the wii controller and press the red button. then open the cover at the front of the wii and press the red button. do this when you are at the wii menu. this registeres the remote

My wii remote cursor works fine until i get to the main menu of the new game i bought. the cursor doesnt show up. i tried hitting the remote and "bull whipping" it but its still not working.

make sure your wii controller is properly configured, go to your wii system settings and make sure all the settings are correct and your controller is properly configured. Your proximity to tho sensor bar also plays a role in this, dont get too close :)

hi yeah i had the same problem with mine i phoned nintendo and they told me to turn the remote on its side and tap it three times on a hard surface this resets the motion sensor on the remote and yes it works,im am now a happy bowler. let me know if it works [email protected] i also have number of nintendo if needed
