i had that same exact problem, with my razr so i just went out and bought a new battery for like 15 dollars, and now it works like a charm thanks........

get a message saying my USB is not sufficient enough to charge phone ???? It works on other computers just not the one I need it to work on.

Your battery is dead and will no longer hold a charge. If it is a newer computer, then it may be defective and covered under your warranty. If it is an older computer, this is the unfortunate thing about rechargeable batteries...eventually they will no longer hold a charge.

battery icon flashes but battery not charging

i cant figured out the battery issue myself but you can reset the voice icon to zero through setting ...more...morephone settings then more again then hit the clear voicemail icon

it's a hardware failure,, cant fix it here ..

i have noticed that the mini plug for the charger and usb connection on RAZR V3 is sometimes sloppy. when the phone is charging it will definitely say battery charging on the external display and also flash the battery icon. i also noticed that the plug for the wall outlet is touchy.
make sure the plug is secure in the wall outlet
make sure the mini plug is secure in the phone
gently wiggle these connections if you have to till you get the battery charging message
if there are any connection problems there will be a unable to charge message instead.

dead battery - buy a new one probably about $10
