We have the same model TV and the same thing happened a few months ago, we could not turn it on. However, after playing with it a while, if you hold down the power button and then hit the channel up or down button repeatedly it should turn on, at least that how i have to turn mine on all the time now. Hope it helps.
Yes could be several problem, the first one in my mind is burt horzirontal transistors, Q14401 or bad hight voltage block.
Could be convergence problem that is causing the system to shout down.
Hope this helps

I have the same issue on my RCA P46924 46 inch Tv. I have had no problem with this TV. it has lasted 8 years. Last night i turned it off like i always do before i go to bed, and then dismorning I was going to watch the news before i went to work BAM! NO POWER! What should I do? I did look at the Q14401 and it read as a short. I think the high voltage block is out. Where would i find parts for such an old RCA? Please help! This Tv is my best friend (Joking). It has even servived a divorce! Help me!
I have to repair a similar RCA Home Theater TV Model (I have solely the drawer chassis but I will receive the cabinet sooner) P46729BA who has the same trouble but prior to repair, I want to know the difference between these service manuals prior do download. I need a P46729BA Service Manual but I have found 2 similar ones as P46729BADX1 and P46729BALG1. What is the difference between them? What these suffixes DX1-LG1 mean? It seams to be the same chassis? Did I can count on these service manuals to do it?
Thanks in advance!

no power or picture just clicks and clicks
i have the same tv and i can't get it to turn on either it just makes a clicking sound when the power button is pushed and you see a little spark from the back when pushing power button
Not the exact same model of TV, but I'm having the same problem. The AC bridge rectifier diodes (at least CR4002, but replaced 4001-4004 to be sure) blew after a drink falling off the top of the TV and getting into the back of it. I've replaced the diodes but it still doesn't turn on.
