If you cannot adjust the red or blue in all 4 directions in the conversion adjustment menu. Your Convergence ICs are bad and will need replacement. Let me know if you need any further instructions.

RCA P46924 46" Rear Projection Home Theatre Gone Haywire

the button cluster in the front may have a bad tack switch(button) or the buttons may have loose connections. you can take the speaker grill off and look yourself...watch for wires..unplug your tv first:) also if you use spray cleaner that may have seeped into the button cluster too...you may be able to get the cluster as a whole from a local tv repair shop and put it in yourself..save labor charges:)

RCA P46924 46 in rear projection tv will not turn on

More than likely it has bad solder connections on the circuit board. You could try tapping lightly on power supply/deflection boards to see if it makes contact. Usually I find bad solder on those right under where the power cord plugs in, on the bottom of the board. If you have a soldering iron and solder you could save a few hundred dollars in repair costs, but use caution and make sure all power to set is disconnected. Maybe mark each plug as you disconnect them. Hope this helps. Good luck, Russmann.
