Question about Fisher and Paykel DE09 Dryer
There are nylon or cloth type guide bushings(bearings) at the front of the drum which may be worn. The drum rides on these to keep it suppurted. You can replace from retailer and or try to lubricate with silicone spray.

My DE09 was doing the same thing. I took it apart and found as stated by wfservices, that the slides that the drum rides on were worn / damaged. In my case, the bearing support was broken as well, right where one of the white slides sits, and that allowed the slide to move out of position. I was able to buy the replacement parts at http://www.fisherpaykelparts.net/category/DG09/DE09-DG-09-US/1.html. In my case I had to get the WE3M26B bearing kit, because I needed both the bearing support and the slides. But if you only need the slides, they sell those individually as well.
