Could hear the relay 'clicking', but no power to horn itself under the hood. Checked fuse panel and apparantly the horn fuse wasn't making good connection. "Wiggled"/made sure all fuses were good- now horn blows good and strong.

Your horn buzzer is either broken, or it is not getting power. The click you hear is the horn relay. It is good that you can hear it.

To diagnose the problem, locate the horn module. It should be behind the grill in the front of the car. Remove the power wire. Get an assistant to press the horn button while you measure voltage in the connector. If you have voltage, replace the horn. If not, find out why there is no voltage. It could be a blown horn fuse or a broken wire. Good luck.

if you bought it with any warranty go back to the dealer you bought it from. if you push on the horn pad and you hear a click noise then the chances are the horn itself is bad. a horn must work to pass a safety. it could also be a BCM problem.

The horn on my 2010 Santa Fe stopped working. Any suggestions or help

when pushing on the horn pad you may hear a click noise this tells you the circuit is good from the horn pad to the horn relay and out to the horn. find the horn and check for power at the horn terminal when the horn pad is pushed. if it lights up then replace the horn. if it doesn`t then you will have to check for a wire problem from the horn back to the relay. but horns are usually the problem.

1988 ford broncho horn doesn't work ,relay clicks when horn button is pushed,I replaced the horn it still doesn't work. what should I check next.

OK, try to use a test light and connect the horn lead to ground to see if there is current, and to see if it sounds. If it does, then the wiring is fine to the horn itself. The relay may click, but are the contacts ok? Maybe swap out the relay for a new one.

Horn doesn't work

it could be a fuse but most likely its the horn itself were the diaphram has dried out and not vibrating.with someone pushing on the horn button you can tap on the horn to see if it might make a noise.if it does then it needs to be replaced.you can also check for power to the horn with a test light and if it lights up when someone pushes on the button.if it does and the horns not working then again the horn needs replacing.there is a horn relay in the system but it rarely goes bad as well as the horn button rarely goes bad.

Horn does not work, horn buttons are good, horn contact in steering cololm is good, battery level is good, can't find a fuse in fuse box for horn.

if you take a test light and test all the fuses in the fuse box and if they are good then when pushing on the horn button you can usually hear the horn relay working(click).if it does then you need to check the horn itself.take a wire and run it from the battery positive cable and connect it to were the horn wire connects to the horn,it should blow(make sure of a good connection),if it does then it could be a dirty connection at the horn.if it doesn`t blow then the horn needs replacing.you can also use the test light and test for power at the horn wire at the horn itself to see if the horn is being feed power from the horn button to the horn.

My horn no longer makes sound i checked the fuse it is fine

Your horn is hooked to a relay. The relay is activated by the ground wire that comes from the horn button. If the fuse is ok then you need to check the relay and the horn switch. You may have a dead relay or a bad contact from the switch.
Hope this helps... Dale

Horn on 1998 mystique does not work - makes a clicking noise from under the hood when horn button is pushed -

If you are getting a clicking noise when you push the button, that means that the switch in your steering wheel is getting 12 volts to the relay. that is a good thing as the switch in the steering wheel is the bear to work on in the system. Either the horn itself has failed, or the relay is popping but the contacts have failed and the 12 volts is not getting to the horn. Horns are cheap used at junkyards and not really very expensive at a parts store. The horn is most likely near the radiator, behind the front grille. Looks like a horn, circular horn shape with an opening. You may have to get the grille off to get at the horn or maybe you can get at it from underneath. Make a jumper cable out of an old extension cord, just strip and bare the ends of the wire. Have someone hold on set of bared ends to the battery terminals while you hold the other ends to the connectors on the horn which you can see after you pull the plug off. If the horn honks, then it is good and you need to get a new relay. If the horn does not honk then you need a new horn. Usually just one bolt takes it off. You might have a 3 or 2 wire unit so make sure you get the proper replacement. I always get one out of a junkyard You know it is an exact fit if it came out of a similar car so no drilling or fabrication required.

Horn makes a clicking noise when i push the horn switch, but does not make a honk noise, what can be the problem?

The horn relay is faulty or the horn is dead.Try tapping on the horn while someone is holding in the horn button,if that make the horn work the it's the horn,if not, change the relay.
