Hello!
I'm having lenovo x60. At the start as I bought it wireless was working properly but then after a short while it stoped to find any networks.
I' ve done everything i could think of - double checked BIOS settings (it was off by default) installed all possible updates updated driver in device manager,
I have no more additional ideas left, so some advice might be handy.
Try checking in control panel>system>hardware>device manager>network adapters>wireless adapter: right-click> properties > advanced, whether it says "wireless on" next to the intel sign.
Worked on mine X60.
Verify that the radio is enabled.
It is possible to disable the transmitter of the wireless card without Device Manager showing any problems.
Note: Follow the instructions provided to enable wireless card.
If you double-click the previously mentioned system tray icon, the configuration utility of the wireless card will appear. This utility will be able to show the status of the wireless card, showing what channel the card is using and what signal strength is being received. It may be difficult to maintain a connection if signal strength is low due to either interference or distance. For example, interference can be caused by 2.4GHz cordless phones, other Access Points in the area, and physical structures such as load bearing walls or metal partitions.
Note: The utility can be used to configure the wireless card settings, but if using Windows XP Zero Configuration or Access Connections, you will need to use those programs to actually configure the wireless card as they will overwrite the setting of the utility.
Check if there's a physical switch for wireless. The t6x series have them.

Usually answered in minutes!
I already tried all that stuff.
And no luck, bitch doesn't list any wireless networks, even though access point is located few meters away.
Anyhow thanks for paying time to try to help me.
I took it to service center and they told that hardware is alright and this is software caused problem, without further explanations.
Hence I still have no idea what was wrong. Hopefully it wont come back.
