RV Refrigerator - both lights at top are blinking and I can hear a slight fan noise. This happened after the refrigerator stopped working due to dead marine battery, which has been replaced. At first the fridge seemed to work fine once the battery was replaced, but then this new problem started. Can you advise me as to what might be wrong? Thanks!

Evap fan stops turning

It sounds like the sensor circuit in the motor is out or the motor is binding slightly so that the motherboard can't tell what the fan rpm is. Replace the motor and you should be ok. This is a common failure I have run in to.
Post back if you have any questions.
Thanks/Mike

Typical problems that can cause this:

- iced up evaporator due to defrost problem

Whisling noise coming out of inside the refrigerator. Louder when freezer door is open. maybe ice maker area?

The whistling is caused by the air circulating fan located just behind the light. It is easily accessed by removing the light cover and the two small hex screws above the light. To stop the whistling I simply turned the freezer off and pulled the fan cover out slightly to reveal the fan blades. I then pushed the blades down, toward the bottom of the until the blades stopped and i could feel the shaft slightly protruding from the top of the blades. Repositioning the blade has stopped the incessant whistling. Hope this helps!

Problems with Frigidaire FRS6R4E Side by Side Refrigerator?

The refrig side does not have a fan. only the freezer. Is that fan working??? you will hear it when the unit is running (and not in defrost) The clicking you hear is the Damper (a motorized door allowing more or less air to the refrig) opening or closing. Is there frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer??
