Hi,
If you are able to acess the hardware just touch the hard disk with your hand and see if you are able to feel the vibration of the disk running? If No then please check the power cable which enters the HDD. If its running it means power is fine. So remove he data cable and reconnect it again and check what happens. Let me know if you have doubts in finding the problem.
Thanks
Sweet rascal

Reset my fujitsu laotop model M6210 back to factoy reset

RESTORING THE FACTORY IMAGE
The Restore Disc that came with your system contains
two utilities:
? The Recovery utility allows you to restore the original
contents of the C: drive.
? The Hard Disk Data Delete utility on this disc is used
to delete all data on your hard disk and prevent it from
being reused. Do not use the Hard Disk Data Delete
utility unless you are absolutely certain that you want
to erase your entire hard disk, including all partitions.
BOOT Priority Change
Before restoring an image, you must first verify that your
system is set up to boot from the DVD drive. To verify/
change the boot-up priority (rather than booting-up
from the hard drive or an external floppy disk drive),
perform the following steps:
1. Start your system and press the [F2] key when the
Fujitsu logo appears. You will enter the BIOS Setup
Utility.
2. Using the arrow keys, go to the Boot menu.
3. Arrow down to the Boot Device Priority submenu.
Press [Enter].
4. If "Optical Media Drive" or "CD-ROM Drive" is not
at the top of the list, arrow down to the drive in the
list, and press the space bar (or the + key) to move it
to the top of the list. (The system attempts to boot
from the devices in the order in which they are
listed.). Note that the BIOS for some systems will
indicate "CD-ROM Drive", even when a DVD drive
is connected. Then put in DVD restore disc that came with the computer and follow its instructions.
• This disc can only be used with the system with which it was purchased.

Hard disk is not boot up after windows screen appears

It seems you computer is not recognising the hard-drive, on boot up, because it doesn't know where to look, i.e. it is booting up to a different drive letter. Have you got more than one drive on the system? If you have you will need to reconfigure the bootup list. Good Luck. George

Fujitsu Hard drive MHK2060AT not being read. =/

In a simple way the hard drive doesn't need a driver. Maybe the hard drive cable are not connected properly. You need to check the hard drive if is it connected correctly. Try to make also the BIOS and make your hard drive in to first boot.

Hi, I have a Fujitsu MHT2060AT hard drive that I would like to convert to an external hard drive with a cable adapter to USB. The cable adapter that I have accomodates pins: the hard drive has gold plated...

If the drive has tabs, it is a sata drive, the cable has pins, it is a IDE (pata) cable.
You need to buy an enclosure or caddy that is for sata drives

My laptop is broken and i need to retrieve my photo albums. how can i do this

You will need to have someone pull the hard drive out of the laptop and extract the data from it. Chances are the data is still fine and can be retrieved. Your best bet is to find a local mom and pop type shop that can do this for you.

Hard drive replacement

Hi there, I have an HP nx6110 and it had a WD 60GB 4200 rpm IDE, I bought a Seagate 80GB IDE Hdd and it worked fine. The only think you should be careful is to check if you need a SATA Hdd or IDE Hdd, but I think it's a SATA.

Problem with Fujitsu MHT2080AH hard disk drive

Nothing can be done that is as cost effective as buying a new drive. Use the drive as little as possible, back up your data before it dies completely.

A professional could rebuild it for a few hundred dollars if you have a particular attachment to this exact model. But I can't think of any reason one might choose this route rather than simply buying another drive.
