I have the coby mp826-4g mp3 player.my understanding its suppose to play games. how can i make this work and were do i find it on the coby?

When the firmware inside the Coby 610 becomes corrupt, it doesn't communicate with your computer properly, so your computer can't see it.

i suppose your player is under a virus attack. clean it with an original antivirus software and also your pc too.reset your player to original factory settings. remember this will erase all your data in the device. so you can make a backup before formatting the device. that will solve your problem

Your music may be in the wrong format or it may have DRM protection which is a license created by the recording industry. If you call our tech support number above, we can walk you through discovering why the music won't play.

Coby players can recognize .mp3 and .wma audio formats. If you're pulling the music from iTunes, it's in the wrong format and will not play on a Coby without being converted.

Check on the side of the player and make sure it is not locked that was why ours would not turn on. Once I unlocked it worked fine

I had the same problem and solved it by: formatting the Coby MP3 player (again) in Windows Media; creating a new playlist in the window that appears at the left of the screen; synching the new playlist to the Coby; and when the player was 100% synched I left the Coby in my PC until I shut it down completely. Only when I saw that my PC was shut down, did I remove the Coby and it worked fine.
