Had to remove viruses from computer technician removed all programs and reinstalled with the exception of our canon i560 printer. I cannot locate our cd rom to reinstall. Any options available to me

you need to reinstall the printer drivers. These should have come on a cd with the printer.

Base from the description of your problem the issue here is a printer software/driver related.

So what we can do here is to uninstall and reinstall your printer software from your computer, after you uninstall the printer software from add/remove program on control panel Restart the computer and then reinstall the printer software for it.

Go on www.canon.com and they will give you all the information you need.

it only shows that your printer is working,the problem is in you pc,reinstall the printer driver where it doenst print correctly then reinstall it.

uninstall from the add/remove tab in your control panel

try this - open cover on printer
on the right side of the cartridges is a grey arm - lift it up
remove all ink cartridges.
then remove print head.

remove the cart and reinstall it.

was it replaced with refill or new?
