My 8330 is showing a red light, i used my car charger to get a qick charge, it didnt charge up and instead is showing a red light with a very slooooow blink. I took batter out, tested it and got a reading of 3.12 v DC. I put it back in, got a screen to come in. There was an hour glass flipping over and over, then after 30 secs it went off and no screen comes on. I plugged it in the wall charger for 2 hrs, but still not luck with it coming on. Any idea of its battery issue or phone issue. Frank

I had that same problem, Let the charger sit in there for about 10-15 minutes maybe less and the phone will turn back on and start charging just don't disconnect the charger til the phone is out of the red :)

Hi,

you need to visit the outlet from where you have purchased the handheld to service it.

8300 wont boot up

Have you tried a different battery? Is the battery swollen, indicating it is damaged?

Have you tried booting up the phone with only a charger connected (remove the battery), this will tell you if it is the battery or the phone.

Ryobi battery charger

Either the battery is hot from use or has been in the sun, let it cool down, then try again.
