I have several 600's and they all have the same issue. They are giving 161 192 163 errors. I replaced the battery in them and then go to try and setup the time. However, instead of letting me set the time, it gives me an - - - -> pointing to a book and I am assuming that it is telling me to look at the manual. To back up a bit, these machines appear to have been setup with a blank power on password. Once I get the error messages and hit enter, it get the OK with the arrow and it moves on. I am "assuming" that the password isn't causing an issue, but then again maybe I am off. Help on this would be appreciated. Normally i get 161,163, 192, I replace the battery and move on. This has me a bit stumped.

Hi,

161 = CMOS configuration lost (battery has died).

163 = CMOS error; Clock is not updating.

192 = System fan is faulty, not plugged into the system board or the system board itself is faulty.

Whe you replaced the RTC (real time clock/BIOS battery) did you make sure that the CPU fan was working?

If it is then go back into the BIOS and reset it to defaults. Save the changes and reboot, then go back into the BIOS and try to set the time and date.

Regards.

How do i remove and replace the cmos battery

If your computer is losing its time or date settings, or you are receiving a message CMOS Read Error, CMOS check sum error, or CMOS Battery Failure, first try leaving the computer on for 24-hours. In some cases, this can charge the battery and resolve your problem. This fixes most CMOS battery issues on computers left without power for several months. If this does not resolve your problem follow the steps...

P0601 error code

Internal control module (main computer) issue. Expensive to fix, so maybe try resetting, especially if it is not drivable. Have never done this on a Jeep, but here are steps: Disconnect battery cable (negative, then positive). Press and hold brake pedal for at least 30 seconds (ensures no residual voltage in system). Reconnect battery cables (positive, then negative). Start and run. Give it time (several starts and several miles of mixed driving) to re-learn.

Battery? Polaroid made several different models in the 600-series and none of them, as far as I know, use batteries. At least, no batteries other than the one included in each pack of film.

Battery fully charged chair levers engaged to drive position chair still will not move.. Jazzy 600.... Tried unlock/lock tried putting it in neutral back in drive with levers still wont move please...

Has your scooter been sitting idle for several weeks, or has it been connected to the charger 24 hours a days for a long time? If so, the batteries may have become damaged and will give you enough power to turn the controller on but not enough to make the motors run.
If the lights come on and are steady, the manual brake levers are in the drive position and the chair still will not move, I recommend replacing the batteries. If anything else were wrong, either the lights would flash or not come on at all.
I hope this information is helpful to you, good luck!

Loox 600 doesn't start

Hey,

Have you tryed performing a hardreset on the pda?

If a hardreset doesnt fix the problem. Then it is eather a hardware issue or your operateing system is corrupt.

You can reflash your operateing system with a com or a usb cable maybe even from a memory card. But frist you need to get your hands on a working copy of the os. It might be easyer to take the pda to a local repair shop for analysis and repairs.

Speedlight SB-600 Display flashing.

My SB 600 is doing the exact same thing. I used Nikon's online support service and this is the response I got: "I would try doing the 2 button reset on the flash and then see if that helps. Also disconnect any battery packs you may have connected especially if its a third party battery pack. If none of the above work then please service the speedlight" Sounds like they don't know what it is, either. I tried the reset to no avail. I'm not sure I want to send it in to have it fixed, since it does seem to be working. But you're right, it's annoying.
