1.Look in the lower right corner of your screen, does the speaker icon next to the date and time have a red circle with a line through it? If so, right click the speaker icon, open volume mixer, and click the speaker icon for device to un-mute the speakers.

2.If using Windows Media Player (I am sure this applies to other media players too) please check below the video which is playing and locate the volume control slide bar. There should be a Speaker Icon next to the bar, make sure the red circle with a line through it is not on this icon either. If so, click it to un-mute your media player. Also, make sure the volume within your media player is turned up in this same place.

3.Finally, if all else fails, click the windows bubble (start menu) and right click on "Computer" and click "Manage". Select "Device Manager" from the list on the left, and scroll down to "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers". Expand that list, if you have any errors (Yellow Triangles, Red X's) there, you will need to reinstall drivers which can be obtained from Lenovo's website.

Hello.
Well please check if audio is mute on Windows media player or the other player that you are using.
You can go to start/all prog/accessories/ entertainment/volume control
Here you can uncheck any mute boxes.

Tell us about the speakers. Maybe they're not compatible.

As far as what to expect to hear from surrounds, that depends on the sound engineering.

Sound doesn't match the movie?

Look at the settings on the DVD/Receiver you are using. There is an option for adding a delay between the movie and the sound. Try to adjust that.

I can't hear people talking when i watch a movie?

I had the same problem and found that there was a connection problem with the center speaker. Do a sound check on all speakers and see if the sound is coming out of the center one. If not then just check you have connected it properly.

No sound on movie playback

This camera does record sounds. But, it doesnt look like it has a speaker in it to play them. So, yes unfortunately you wont be able to hear what you record unless you are using something else to playback what you have recorded.

Good Luck.

Static 'white' sound

Good day.
Try to remove the cover of your unit and clean the tube with a dry cloth. try to look for the anode cap. the one tht is connected to your tube if there are holes in it. This causes the problem.

response is highly appreciated,
