Hello.
Well please check if audio is mute on Windows media player or the other player that you are using.
You can go to start/all prog/accessories/ entertainment/volume control
Here you can uncheck any mute boxes.

Sounds like a video memory problem. You may need to upgrade. Also be sure you have the latest version of silverlight installed.

I using conexant hd idio inputand output device. I record my sound but after play back i cannot heard sound

If you cannot hear the sound you have recorded. Make sure that the sound you record generates the visual pattern. This confirms that at least your microphone is working.
  • In any of the upper case your audio driver must be install and your audio hardware must be in working order. You can check this in Windows Device Manager. To go to device manager you right click "My Computer" in XP and In Windows Vista and Windows 7 its "Computer. After right clicking it select Manage and on the left pane select the Device Manager and you will see the list of devices and their installed drivers. Make sure all the audio devices and there drivers are not showing any errors.
  • Make sure that you speakers are not mute. If you take a look at the bottom right corner of your computer screen you will see a speaker icon.make sure there is no "X" or any other RED signs on them which represents mute states.
  • Similarly check other related settings. Go control panel after going to the start menu and look for the "Sound" icon and make sure there is not anything suspicious.
  • If all the above is fine and okay than look for any problems in your speakers that are open or if you are wearing them as Headphones or earphones and try to replace them to test them. Maybe the sound is coming but the speakers might be faulty make sure you increase the volume of the speakers when you hear any recordings.
  • Make sure the speakers are okay by listening to music or movie that you might get free from internet or in Disk collections. This is the way you can easily detect the problem.
  • If you can hear sound from music and movies than your microphone hardware might be faulty.
Good Luck!

Copying movies to computer sound won't play

Most digital HDD sony handycam video cameras encode MPEG-2 files in 5.1 surround sound audio. You probably are not hearing sound because your playback software does not support 5.1 surround sound encoded MPEG-2 files. Try using a newer peice of software with the latest codecs installed.

I can't hear people talking when i watch a movie?

I had the same problem and found that there was a connection problem with the center speaker. Do a sound check on all speakers and see if the sound is coming out of the center one. If not then just check you have connected it properly.

No sound on movie playback

This camera does record sounds. But, it doesnt look like it has a speaker in it to play them. So, yes unfortunately you wont be able to hear what you record unless you are using something else to playback what you have recorded.

Good Luck.
