My Kenmore Elite 15919001 just stop working from one day to the next. It just seems like a fuse blew because I have no power to the dishwasher. None of the buttons work on the front board. Help!!

I assume you mean it stopped in mid cycle and is now dead. If this is the case you will need to turn off the power to the dishwasher and remove the screws holding the front control panel There is a thermal fuse clipped to the front of the control panel Check it using an ohmmeter or continuity tester If it is open you will need to replace it with a kit containing the fuse and wire connectors Do not replace just the thermal fuse the problem will surely return. Also inspect the control board for burned areas.If the control board is burned you should replace the wiring harness with the control assembly

There is a thermal fuse inside the door, attached to the controller. But if that part is good, then you may have a fried controller.

Yes. There are 6x screws holding the control panel take them out and you will see the board. There should be a thermal/ or bi metal fuse attached to the board. Change it and you should be back in business soon.

check the fuse or circuit breaker.
check selector switch or pushbutton switch.

Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

sounds like a fuse iside the dishwashers consol.
access the consol area and ohm out the fuse.

Kenmore dishwashers should be recalled!! Their poorly designed computer circuit boards are all malfunctioning around 15 months. Look on the inside top of your door. Do you see a instructions? There should be some about your Heat Dry button and holding it down for 4 seconds to reset your computer board. Read and try it first. It's like rebooting a computer.

I am waiting on a heating element. Once installed, we hope the problem is resolved.
