Try to install Lenovo Energy/Power management and try to configure it there. You have to install the energy driver and the software for you to configure it. You can download it from: consumersupport.lenovo.com. Just eneter your serial number and every driver for your computer model would be there

1525 wont come out of hybernation and the battery wont hold a charge either. Ive tried removing the battery, pushin the power button, lettin it die n try bootin up. Its stuck in hybernation, help me...

Hybernation is one of the worst idea's that microsoft has come out with, it usually ends up corrupting windows making it useless. The only option is a fresh install of windows, and I recommend the hybernation feature be disabled. The battery may start to charge when the new operational windows is running, if not! replacement needed.

I conect my lenovo laptop Y 410 with Panasonic THP42C10 D for Vidio There are no sound in TV

Hi dr_piyushpat,

I see that you conencted your Lenovo Y410 to a Panasonic THP42c10 LCD TV, see details below.

*The Audio will dpened on what cable connection you have from the Laptop to the LCD TV,
*You have Y410 I do not think that HDMI will be an option.
*I believe that you are using the VGA port on the Machine for an extended Video.
*The Audio will really not be coming out of the Panasonic TV if you are using a VGA cable since that is only for Video you will need an audio cable Jack that will relay audio from the Laptops Audio Jack to the Audio Jack of your Panasonic TV thsi is the only way you can get audio out from the Laptop since you are conencted using a VGA cable.

* do not think that HDMI is present on your Lenovo Y410, but if ever you may have that connection/port the way to get Audio from an HDMI conenction is to change the audio PLayback properties and selct HDMI as the default device for the Audio to work using HDMI.

I hope that this helps.

have a nice day,

I am having problems bringing my Lenovo Thinkpad up from hibernat

Go the their webiste and make sure you have got all their latest updates.

Try turning the hybernation off and see if the screen behaves correctly when you close and open the laptop.

This can also indicate a motheroard problem. beware... it may stop working at all.. so if you have any data in it that you need, i would suggest purging it on DVDs. and backing up (otherwise you will pay couple hundreed bbucks later for recovery in case the computer deis).

For now, just trun off the hybernation and see if it works.

Install the operating system again. I think your operating system is corrupted. Or it has shut down improperly while installing updates.
So you have to install os again.

I have lenovo Y 410 laptop with windows XP but webcam not work

Hi,

It seems that your laptop is holding webcam loading problems. Check whether the webcam driver is compatible for the OS which you use.
You can also try re-installing the webcam driver once again. This should do.

I hope this helps., if so, rate me..

Random Hibernation

this sounds like power settings options.

what i can suggest now is that......................

go to the Power Options in the Control Panel and do the following.

  • first uncheck the hibernate option on the hibernate tab
  • use your computer and see if the problem re-appears, go to the control panel and on the power option, select Never to all options when using battery or ac power.
cheers...............
