Filter life counters should be reset each time the filter has change. If your air purifier has a reset button, press and hold the reset button until the lights go out. You may also unplug your unit from the power for 30 seconds before plugging it back on if your unit doesn't have a reset button.

I had similar issues and by replacing the 2200 micro (Mu) Farad, 10 Volt capacitor on the PCB, all of my issues ceased.
Below is a link with information supplied by "fixya" that explains the procedure/details.
Hopefully this will solve your current issues.
Good luck,

PS Linda Haus of "Rockler" Technical Support was kind enough to supply me with this link.
The water level sensor fell into the fan. Unplug the humidifier from the wall, stick your hand in between the fan blade and locate the sensor. It is a small black rectangular piece the size of a nickel but rectangular and 3 nickels thick. It also has a 2 inch stem sticking out of that clicks back and forth when you push it. Stick the sensor back into the sensor whole and the flashing f will go away and the humidifier will come on again.
Oops. It's possible that the incorrectly inserted plate caused the machine to malfunction. It may need to be sent to the factory so the computerized controls can be recalibrated. Call Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) Customer Service 800-989-2299.
I would check the wiring connections to the fan and to the display board. Make sure they are seated properly. If that does not fix it, then call your dealer or the company and see what options you have. The company number is 800 989 2299.
i do apologize for the inconvenience the only thing that i can suggest is the that whole unit will need to be reset. so the machine can connect again with the remote. also make sure that batteries are fully charged. If that doesn't work please let me know.
