Make sure your drain hose end is not more than 3 inches into the drain hole of wall. If that is correct then your diverter valve on the bottom is bad and stuck on drain
For saftey the lid lock and lid down switch must be activated before the machine can advance to the next cycle. This has been the sequence for all top loaders..
Check the switch for the lid it is likely defective.
Chgeck that you drain hose rises above the water level before going into the drain. If not then the water will siphon out as you put it in. The drain hose must go UP above the top of the washer and then DOWN into the drain.
seems like no one wants to send you any love Richard. Well fear not, if you haven't figured this out yet, I'll do what I can. It seems to me that you have the drain hose lower than the top of the wash basket or a hole in that hose. If the drain hose is too low, the water will run out of the machine due to low center of gravity. Ideally, 6" above the level of the tub is sufficient. If there is a hole in that hose, replacement is pretty straight forward.
Leaks water...check the pump first. The fill valve and hoses may be the next step. See how to take apart info. With the use of plastic drain hoses on many machines today, this has become a common leak trouble maker. The drain hose can rub the wall or a pipe and this will rub a hole in the drain hose.
If you live in a rural area and have a well or bad water you may need a water softner installed.Fill your washer and add clr let run for a bit but do not let it drain stop washer then leave sit over night that should take most of the rust out of your tub.
Basically, the machine you have is garbage! - I have one also, It is less than one year old and the repair folks have been out 5 times. It doesn't spin either!
I'd call this one a lemon!
