The best idea here would be to contact the manufacturers website and request a new serial number.

Please click here to download the owners manual for Sanyo Xacti VPC-S1275 Digital Camera.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to view PDF files. The reader is a free plug-in available at the Adobe web site.

Well i have a Sanyo J1 Xacti Digital camera and i lost the CD with the software to download the pictures from camera to Computer. Is there any site where i can get download it? Thanks

Try Sanyo.com - look for support button.

Most newer computers with newer operating systems will detect a camera/camcorder when connected to USB. Have you tried it without the disk?

I have an older Xacti that records to SD card. You can use a flash card reader to transfer files without Sanyo software.

I am trying to open and watch a video emailed from home from my xacti dig camera with a .mp4 file extention. but unable to view it from computer at work. what software can i download to watch it?

Hello

The following link is to the download page for VLC Media Player. It is by far the best free media player around. It will play any file format, and does not take up much of your computers resources.

http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html

Hope that is what you need, thank you for choosing Fixya!

I have an xacti VPC-CG9EX camera how do i get the films off it says i can't download my files as windows does not recognise the programme that created it. Still pictures are fine its just the video film we...

Buried in the Sanyo Xacti GC9 Users Manual is a description of how to download the software required. (Page 167 lists the steps to access the weblink stored in the camera.)

Here is Sanyo's Support Page for the CG9.

The shorter answer is that the videos are apple quicktime .MOV format, so you need to install free quicktime drivers from here to view them.

I cannot transfer videos to my computer with my Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG6

After the USB cord is connected, a menu will popup on the camera. The camera needs to be told you want to transfer files with the usb rather than use the camera as a webcam for example.

Selecting USB Connection / Card Reader on the camera should allow you to access your files on the camera.

You could try removing the memory card from the camera and using an external usb card reader on it.
