Inserting bobbin into the bobbin case or problem inserting bobbin case into the shuttle?

Make sure the thread will feed from the bobbin clockwise and through the guide on the bobbin case.

Lift the lever on the bobbin case to hold the bobbin in place as you inset the bobbin case into the shuttle.

If the bobbin case for this machine as a "finger", this has to align with the opening in the shuttle.

If you cannot readily see this - move the bobbin case a bit to the left and right until it clicks into place.

Bobbin case inserting wrong

I suspect the "housing" you refer to is not seated completely. Be sure to wiggle it until it slips into place. Once it is seated, the bobbin case should seat firmly as well.

The bobbin is not moving

try checking to make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into
the bobbin case
make sure the bobbin is not inserted into the bobbin case backwards
if the bobbin is not in backwards and the bobbin is inserted correctly
then the hook and hook race should be checked by a repair
shop to see if they are damaged

I have a necchi sewing machine. How and where do you insert the bobbin in model 525fa

if you have a snap in sewing table remove it first
at the bottom in front of the needle plate area is a bobbin case door
when you open it there is the bobbin case & also should be the feed dogs
always keep the bobbin area clean of lint or loose threads
take note of how the bobbin case is inserted in the bobbin area,, see where the thread tail is at on the bobbin case
then make sure the bobbin is wound correctly or it can cause sewing problems
reinsert the bobbin into the bobbin case the same way it's removed

I also have a necchi sewing machine, the base of your is like the base of mine, if you need a picture of inserting the bobbin,, send me a comment with your email address & I will send you a picture of the threading the bobbin case & inserting it

The bobbin case is loose how do i put it back in

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Turn the power switch off before inserting or removing the bobbin. When inserting or removing the bobbin, the needle must be fully raised.

First open the hinged cover and pull the bobbin case tab and remove the bobbin case. Now hold the bobbin case with one hand, insert the bobbin so that the thread runs in a clockwise direction. Now pull the thread through the ****. Hold the bobbin case by the hinged latch and insert it into the shuttle.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
