Support please my vdr m50 ejects when any of the buttons are pressed. sometimes it works for about 5minutes and defect comes back. thanks

    Is there a way to test if the switch which is inside the dvd door is faulty and can I repair this myself? I got a rough quote of over $200 to mail mine away for diagnosis and repair.

Hi there.
Sometimes a gentle slap with the palm of your hand with the door facing towards the ground does the trick, make sure you power it off then on press eject while you gently slap it.

Panasonic vdr-m50 software cd
Possible solution but I'm not sure. Don't know enough about video files, etc. Does someone know more? Panasonic VDR-M50 camcorder original software won't work on vista PCs. This freeware might work. Please, someone check it out:

Any button causes disk to eject
in your case i dont think your door switch is faulty, i think that a faulty switch that is on the same key line as the eject switch is causing this. The cause can also be on the main pcb, like a faulty microprocessor.

Heres is the real deal guys:


For a limited time software for the Panasonic M50 camcorder will be on my site.

Its a ISO so make sure you got the proper utilities to decompress ( convert ).
WinISO a good program.

Eject
one best way is apply a lil pressure from the edge of the door...or...use an hair dyer...and blow a lil warm air...not holding very close but at a fair distance...and then eject. Usually by this it shd open..or else u need an assistance of a technician
