Dell inspiron 1545 start up problem

Hi buddy, can you give me a hand here:
i have a dell inspiron 1545 model notebook with vista OS installed.
when i turn it on it goes straight on to the bios set up.
can you give a help on these issue?
please i need it urgently.

Try press F12 when you see the DELL Logo, if it still goes to BIOS you need to replace keyboard

    Hi can I get help here my lap top it's a Dell inspiron 1545 when I tried to start it up It gives me options start windows normally safe mode safe mode with networking and safe mode with command prompt I have tried all these it just keeps coming up the load up thenjust black arrow with circle loading hen goes away then leaves a black screen I have tried start up repair that dosent work them f12 then f8 for advanced options tried all them just comes up the same

SOURCE: hi buddy, can you give me a hand here:

  1. Check for a stuck F2 key (That prompts system setup)
  2. From a power off State, press Fn+Power and run diagnostics on the system, after the PSA diagnostics, press N to not complete the memory diags, go to the Dell diagnostics, Customer, keyboard test and test the keyboard, then run the HDD diagnostc there too.

Upgrading your laptop OS from Vista to Win 7, you have to reinstall your Bluetooth drivers for Win 7 OS(ie x86bit or x64bit) for the Bluetooth to function properly.

Under "Network" -> Select your correct Bluetooth drivers versions for your OS Win 7 (i.e. x86bit or x64bit) to install.

I bought Dell inspiron with vista OS. I changed it to XP with sata. Since then my DVD/CD rom is not working. Iy just gives grrrr sound and then comp gets stuck.I have optiarc dvd RW AD 7560S sata driver.

Upgraded my dell inspiron 1545 from vista to windows 7, now my web cam doesn't work nor will it let me install the original drivers? I've tried the root clean up and connecting a usb cable, no luck
I think the reason it wont let you install original drivers because they are probably just for Vista OS. You can try going to dell's web site and see is there driver download for it or who ever manufacturer is of your web cam. When you ran upgrade advisor it would have told you that web cam probably would have not worked and would have told you where to go for the driver if available.

This can be very frusturating but you can go to Dell's website and download the software that controls the "hotkeys" and reinstall free. Click on applications, and download/run quickset program. See link below:
