My tomtom is programmed to an English address. I have now moved to Spain. I can now get Spanish maps and roads, but I change the English address to my new address in Spain. How do I do this please?

This will open "Select Your Language" pop-up menu, click "English"

The TomTom 910 sat-nav is offeredin many markets and instructions are available in numerous languages, includingGerman, Italian, Spanish and English. If your instructions are in a languageother than English, you can use this article to get started and make a journey. INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
1 Turn on the 910 using the "on/off" button and tap on the screento answer some questions that the TomTom will ask you. After you have answeredthe questions, the GO will show the "Driving View," which appears inmonochrome until the GO finds your location. It then transitions to color.
2 Place the TomTom outside inan open space without tall trees or large buildings around you, and the TomTomwill find the location. It can take up to five minutes when starting the TomTomfor the first time. The "Driving View" appears in color when the GOhas positioned itself.
3 Tap the screen to launch themain menu and touch "Navigate to" then "Address." Choosebetween "City Center,""Postcode" and so on. Type the details onto the screen using theletter-pad. Touch "Done" when you are finished and the TomTom willcalculate the route.
4 Stay on the route by following the map on the screenand by listening to the voice prompts. The TomTom will immediately startguiding you. The "Driving View" will show the name of the next road,the next instruction and your current position in addition to otherinformation.

Try getting a translate program and copy and paste into this program till you can find the setting or preferencs to change to English

I do not speak spanish at all. I do have an N900 and you have to go to the menu and then to settings. You will find the Language and region button (it has a world map on it) From there the first item is Device Language and you can switch to English from there. Then click Save and that's it :-)

Now that's unusual, a Spanish laptop and printer having Spanish menu's!

If I were you I'd go into the control panel and change the regional settings and languages.

The bongs are usually associated with a selection made in 'preferences' that is to alert you / remind you to drive on the correct side of the road in that country. eg , I have GB maps on my TomTom and also have Western Europe . When I change from the GB map ( we drive on the left ) to the Western Europe Map ( when going on holiday to Spain ) the TomTom will ask me if I need ' alerts ' to remind me to drive on the other side ( Spain drives on right ) . From time to time and especially where I have been in a petrol station or deviated slightly from the route , the TomTom will bong 3 times as a reminder to me . Very Good , isn't it ?
Anyway , it sounds to me from your description that you have this alert turned on.

Switch on your tomtom . tap the screen then select CHANGE PREFERENCES . Move right using the ARROW at bottom right of screen. ( the arrow is pointing to the right ) . Look for an ICON with FLAGS . Under the FLAGS icon it says ( CHANGE LANGUAGE. ) Tap the FLAGS ICON. iT WILL SHOW all THE LANGUAGES AVAILABLE. Select ENGLISH UK . It will then move to another screen requiring you to confirm YES or NO . Select YES .... and thats it . Good luck.
