Hp wireless mouse not lighting up

I got an hp wireless mouse a few days ago and it just stopped working today. It will not light up at all. I changed the batteries and restarted my computer but still nothing happened. Is there any way to fix this?

Just make sure the sensor usb receiver is properly connected just unplug it and plug it again. and then press the connect button from sensor and to the mouse. It will work.

Hello, have you tried changing the batteries in your mouse? They are probably dead or dying and that is why it is not working. Also, try restarting the computer. If you cannot even use a regular wired usb mouse, there may be something going on. Try changing the batteries, restarting the computer, and using a regular usb and a regular PS/2 mouse.

Remove the battery of the mouse and install new one and then press connect button from the mouse side and the receiver side also.

try cleaning the laser of the mouse. the light spot at the bottom it mite have some dirt or something on it thats not alowing it to have a good conection

This can happen when the battery's are starting to die. Replace the batteries and then test the device again.

Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly. Good luck!!!! Chawah.
