Question about Hayward H Series Pool & Spa Heater 400k Btu Propane Gas Milivolt Ignition H400p1
I had code AO displayed on my hayward H250IDE. I found the blower motor frozen and burnt. After replacing it I still have the AO code. The blower fan starts running as soon as I turn on the power and after a few seconds the AO code is displayed. The hoses are not pluged and the blower switch on the right checks good. Any help would be great. Also the blower never turns off. I am guessing thats why in burned up.
Check your wiring again on all the safety devices - Water pressure switch and both Hi- limits in the header.

I did some further troubleshooting and found all the safety switches good. The JQ1aP-B-24v relay on the board at position K1 was testing closed with power off. The contacts were welded together. The new relay is on the way. I beleve the AO code was displayed because the switches were closed before the unit thought they should be, due the stuck relay. Thanks for the help.
I soldered in the new relay on the board and all is well. A new board or $4.00 relay. I think I got lucky.
