It is a Basic Multifunction Copier, Printer Fax. It is not in the settings.

Not even a printable Journal.. You need the L170 for that!

If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent, follow these instructions to enable fax confirmation before sending any faxes. Select either On Fax Send or Send & Receive.

The default fax confirmation setting is Off. This means that the HP All-in-One will not print a confirmation report for each fax sent or received. A confirmation message indicating whether a fax was successfully sent appears briefly on the display after each transaction.

To enable fax confirmation from the control panel

1. Press Setup.

2. Press 2, and then press 3.

This selects Print Report and then selects Fax Confirmation.

3. Press to select one of the following, and then press OK.

Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and

receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.

On Fax Send Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send.

Fax

On Fax Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive.

Send & Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and

receive.

do you mean that your copier doesnt print fax report after sending one?

On add.functions (*) under FAX sett., you must under REPORT select TX ( transmission )report ON.

If not used as network printer you can use Initialize All Data to remove all settings.Initialize=ERASE>>> WARNING>>> this will remove all settings for header,number,user boxes,network settings. Unless you print all of these other settings for fax - network(Additional Funtions Report) and remember how to re-input DO NOT USE THIS.

You can have a fax tied to a one-touch button and that will prevent you from deleting from the fax screen.
1st>Send tab>reg.tab>Register One-Touch Button>Highlight Name>Erase tab will activate touch Erase>Yes to confirm
2nd>Send tab>Address Book>Register>RegisterAddress>Highlight Name>Erase>Yes to confirm

1) on copier you have a button add. functions-something like *
2) with + or - trough the menu press OK at FAX sett. or under report sett.- If I recall its under Fax sett.
3) try to find report sett. then OK
4) you must enable the RX REPORT than OK


For transmision report you must enable TX REPORT

just go into reports and print it out there

after emailing canon support, the answer is this: 1) the fax paper size must be "letter" - 8.5-11". 2) reset all settings through settings menu. the fax will then print reports (and also every report that was not printed before).

Press your user mode button(the one with the star)-press the arrow(the plus button) untill you get 8-report settings,press ok.Settings will apear on the screen,press ok.tx report will show on the screen press ok,use the arrow key to set it to"on"

Then you will receive the reports

Press Aditional funcktion button(The one with the star)
Select Report settings,
Under Custom settings,select "fax"
Switch TX report to "ON"
