Error code 215 - IBM Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter

bypass mechanism is stuck and can't lift
check that.

To cancel the error open and close the front door,

Left drive problem.

ERRORS 214 TO 217 (214 / 215 LEFT DRIVE - 216 / 217 RIGHT DRIVE)
1.Check Drive Motors/Motor Brushes
2.Check Drive Boards And Connections To Those Boards
3. Check Fuse AMX1A3F9 (+BATT)
4. Check Wires (push-On Terminals) To Both Fuse Holders (F1 & F2)--Pull Each One Off
And On Once To Clean Terminals (Oxidation Issues)
5. Loose Leads On K1 And K2 Relays On Drive Power Amp Board
6. Excessive "play" in Main Drive Wheels - Internal Gearing In Drive Wheels Worn

91-215 is "communication error between system control and keyboard." could be a loose cable, open fuse, capacitor problem, etc.

Sounds like either the emergency stop switch is faulty or fuel filter.

215 is a Print Wheel error. Remove the print wheel, look for debris in the P/W area, if you have a compressed air source blow the P/W area out. If these don't work the P/W sensor is probably bad.

215 is a print wheel error. If you have the "FLAG" broken it will have to be replaced. You will probably need a tech.

215 is printwheel error. Remove the printwheel, look for bent or broken spokes of debris in thst area. If you have some cammed air blow out that area, Try another printwheel.
