I have a ge remote and i need the code for my sony cd /dvd player

The first question I would ask is whether you are installing the codes properly, as the procedure is sometimes complicated and must be exactly done.
Then have you tried all of these codes?

20533, 21533, 20864, 21033, 21070, 21431, 21536.

Check the GE website for a code, if available, that will work.

(Sony DVD recorders may use 302, 321, 322.)

However, the codes programmed into a universal remote are limited to those for devices released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your DVD player is newer than your remote, you may need a newer universal remote.

I have a CyberHome CH-DVD-300 unit with a Dishnet remote. The remote code that worked for me is 724.
