It is problem with alternator , call technician he repair it and, he will put your battery to charge for min 8hr, then you can drive your car. when ever battery light is on it means battery is not getting charge.

Alternator died, so you were only running on power from the battery which killed that so now you will most likely need to replace both. the brake light could be on because of low brake fluid or the electronic fluke

Nissan truns the brake and battery light on when there is a charging issue. When you say it wont start does that means it craks or no? If it does not crank I would attempt to charge the battery then try to start it and check the charging system.

Dangerous practice to try & jump a near dead battery

Always try charging a battery, that is only a couple years
old & not run down more than two or three times

If the battery is dead & reads less than 12 volts, have a parts
store test it or just replace it.

Jumping a cars battery is not a fix for anything,so I fail to
see how your lost & have not addressed the battery issue,
so you can continue on with other testing,if needed

Ford Excurtion will start normal, but stall when putting in gear (reverse) or braking. When re-starting it runns ok until next braking.
Have the catalytic converter checked at your local muffler shop...clogged...worn out...Hope this helps.

Daughter says battery light is on; brake light on.
When the battery light comes on (When the car is running) it is usually the reverse polarity diode in the alternator. Usually you will have to have the alternator rebuilt, or replaced.
As far as the brake light, check the fluid first. As brakes wear the caliper pistons move inward and the fluid is displaced. Overtime this leads to fluid getting lower and activating the brake light.
Also check that the hand/emergency brake is not partially engaged. That will also activate the brake light.

lopen your tail light assy... check/replace bulbs common problems bulbs filament grounded if you have a tester, test brake light and reverse bulbs on driver side only.... if not check for lose groundline on wire of reverse light... if you have a lose ground on reverse line, the reverse light only lits up when braking becoz it shares the ground line on brake...

Test the ground wire strap. Run a ground wire from battery to ground on the ignition and see if that’s the problem.
