Sim 1 slot appears SIM CARD IS MISSING eventhough i slot in the 3G simcard. the same card anyway can be used at other phones...

this site has the specs for your tablet, but it doesn't appear to be either 3G or 4G capable it does have a slot for a micro SD card

1) you state the problem is with an Apple iPad 32gb Wifi Tablet. You will be unable to put a sim card in as this is not the 3G / 4G version.

2) Refer to the original product documentation.

3) Have you searched the manufacture website? There are online user guides on apple.com.

4) Use a small needle and press it in to the hole on the sim card slot. remove, insert your simcard and insert in to the ipad.

There is no SIM card slot on the Tablet, you have to purchase a separate and compatible 3G adaptor to put the SIM card in.

You insert this into the USB slot and then program the Tablet to use it, with the correct suppliers details.

There are some possible solutions:-
1. Check that your sim card is in perfect condition by putting the same sim card in any other mobile if the samemessage appears that means the problem is in your sim card
2. Check that your sim card's slot is in perfect condition by inserind any other sim in your sim card's slot if the same message occurs that means the problem is in your sim card's slot
3. Check that whether you are inserting your sim card correctly or not

Check your SIM CARD. If you place SIM CARD, upside-down or in wrong direction, then should message comes up.

The SIM card in the iPhone is removable, but it's hidden. To remove the SIM card, you need a paper clip.

1. Locate the SIM Card Slot
The slot is located at the top of the iPhone, between the headphone jack and the power button.

2. Open the Slot
Take your paper clip and insert it into the little hole. Then firmly push down until the slot pops up.
3. Remove the SIM Card
The SIM card is in a cradle. You can pop the card out of the cradle.

To replace the SIM card, put the card back in the cradle. The cradle and card are notched in a way that forces you to replace the card on the proper side. Then just slide the card back into the iPhone.

first remove the sim card and then switch on the phone... then choose antenna on... after a few seconds you will see emergancy only on your screen ... turn off your mobile and insert the sim and switch it on again ... this solved my problem ... but this is not working on my cell now.. does anybody have a solution?

thats a really wierd one. is the airtel card a 3g sim? have you tried it in other NON-3g phones?

I know that the 3 network uses their U-Sims, and they are tempermental.

worst for worst, you can ask airtel to change your sim card
