Washer won't drain and some cycles won't work

GWL15 - Just had circuit board and pump replaced but original problem returned before the guy was out of the area.

Problem started with load not getting rinsed from soap and water retained in tub - even after running it 3 times without addiontional liquid detergent. Then it got where I could not use the "regular" or "heavy duty" buttons - they just moaned. Finally it went completely dead. Wall circuit tested fine.

Fisher and Paykel EcoSmart GWL15 won't drain at the end of it's cycle. I put it in diagnostic mode and the got it to drain that way. I ran another cycle and it wouldn't drain on it's own again. Put it back...

Hello Robert. If you have heard any kind of squeaking or squealing or rattling while the pump was running, replace the pump. You mention a humming noise. Also a sign to replace the pump. When FP pumps fail, they will not spin at the correct speed and that is why when you run it in diag mode you can pump out the water as it runs until you stop it, but will not drain in a normal cycle. Be VERY careful when you replace the pump. Make sure you get no water in the new pump windings when replacing the pump or you will WILL take out the machine controller. Pump p/n is 479595

F & S GWL15 would not drain. Replaced pump & it drained for a while. Removed diverter, found a dime & some lint, cleaned it out and installed it. Still would not drain, water is on floor, do not see leak....

Have you tried reverse flushing the drain hose?
If you can get the outlet/drain hose to the washtub cold tap
wrap a towel around the hose and tap to stop water going everywhere whilst slowly turning up the water pressure
from the tap.
(Any leaks STOP and check your hose clamps/connections are all tight.)
Water should now be flowing into the machine bowl, and
hopefully turned the pump, and cleared any blockages.

Hope it helps

Ecosmart washer won't drain it filled with water, washed and nowwon't drain the water.

you need to vacume out all the water so you make it light, then dolly out the washer to some place you can drain it. now take off the front of the washer and locate your water pump, its attached to your drain line. take off drain line to water pump and see if anything is clogged in the pump. This is most likely what is wrong if it wont drain. hope this helps.

F&P washer lights on and beeps

Clogged pump stopped up drain. If the washer does not think all water was pumped out in 8 minutes then it shuts down. Slow drain is my first inclination.
