Left button on A4Tech ***-35 mouse sending double clicks

To obtain your drivers software for this particular device do the following.

Step 1. Go to the A4Tech website and click on Wired Mouse on the left side of the page.

Step 2. Click on Optical Mouse.

Step 3. Click Next until you find MOP-35 image. Click on the image.

Step 4. Click on the Download Driver tab.

Step 5. Click on the Driver for PC button, and this will prompt you to download the driver software in the .zip format.

Step 6. Extract the .zip file onto your desktop.

Step 7. Open the extracted files and double-click on the Setup Program. This program will walk you through installing the driver files and software. Once completed, you may be prompted to restart your computer.

Step 8. Connect your mouse to your computer.

You can alter the double click setting by going to Control Panel - Mouse and move the slider for the Double click setting to the left to slow down the click response.

recheck your computer for viruses again and reinstall the driver for your mouse it should work

On Mouse Property, try faster on 'Double click speed'

try opening ur mouse and brushing the sensors.....
I hav a mouse wid same prob, it still double clicks.....!!!!
I'v tried evrything possible......

and for ur info, it's hardaware prob, not dat ur system is configured 2 sense double clicks from a single click.....

I don think u'll be able to repair it urself....
wat I found out in my mouse was dat the mouse-circuits were all haywire......
It's 5 yrs old, it is expcted 2 be so......

I called my maintenance guy, but he is yet to show up.......

check your bios, is it configured correctly

Take it apart and see if any connections or buttons are out of place

Check the CCORNELL posting for the solution. Your mouse is double clicking when it should be only single clicking.

Try a bit of compressed air - perhaps dirt is jammed under the button.

If its under warranty you might want to return it to where you bought it.

The screwholes are usually hidden underneith of labels, or underneith the little padded feet.
