BT Vision Good Afternoon I have a durabrand tv model number 12273, and I have just got BT Vision and trying to get the control to work my tv. BT have told me to get in touch with Durabrand for a code to put in the romote please can you help. Thank you Julie Lee [email protected]

Same problem solved through patient "trial & error" ... for my e-motion TV, the BT Vision remote works with code "0081"

Here is the list for the 2 types of remote control Silver and Black. They both have diferent codes for the TV. Good Luck!

Thank you for the follow up. I have solved the problem by working my way through 4 figure numbers starting at 0001 and in fact the solution was 0009 - which was not a number that bt vision had suggested.

If the set has contrast and brightness controls, try them but this problem is normally caused by a certain capacitor (I don't know the circuit reference number for this one) failing and it will continue to decay. Any competent TV tech (if you can still find one) will know where to look.

reade the booklet that came with the cable box to get the program #'s for the remote to control you tv as well

After many months trying to find the BT Vision code for my LG 32LC2D, i have just had success with 005 remembering to enter an additional zero after the remote has flashed three times, so you enter 0005.

the code for the bt.vision box remote to work a durabrand tv is under the emerson range the code i used was 004 it works fine
