Frozen Valve Busted When Un Thawing and Water Ran through Washer

My valve froze up in my front load washer. When it burst, water was everywhere. (Running water flowed through the washer I am sure) However, I have replaced the valve. Now the machine doesnt work. All the lights come on as if its about to work. It says door lock but I can open it. Its like the washer is confused. It will run water for about a sec on any cycle and shut off. It clicks like its going to do something but it doesnt. It will count down doing nothing but then go back to the original start cycle and do nothing. Please help.

This happened Feb 9th. Nothing is still froze. I was told to do that after it happened. So this has already been done. Plus, the heat has been cut up to assure the freezing doesnt happen again. What else can this be. I have already had the valve replaced. It seems like the machine is confused on what to do on the cycles. It is not going through the cycle. It comes on and shuts right back down. It sends out a little water ansd stops. It clicks but and stays on the wash cycle but never does anything. Its says dor lock but it isnt. I was told that since all of the stuff is covered with plastic, it should not have gotten wet. (motor) or any of that stuff. Is that part even true? I really need to get the answer so that I wont sheel out lots of cash for this problem and it still not ends up fixed. They thought it was just the valve but that part is now fixed.

The pipes froze and busted in my garage which cause water to burst in my Maytag Neptune front loader washer Now the water won't drain Please help

That machine has an electric water pump, The first thing I must ask is has it completely thawed out? There is a rubber hose that goes from the tub to the pump, if the water in the hose is still frozen in the hose or in the drain hose, it will not empty itself. Also the water water level switch is in the top of that hose. Another possibility, is the pump or the water level switch could be damaged. You can access the pump by taking the front panel off. That is not hard to do, requires removal of the door and a couple of other screws.

Where is the cold water valve on amana washer

the cold water valve is at the end of the hose at the back of the machine
if the cold water pipes run outside to the garage , it is a fair bet that the water in the pipes has frozen
easy to check --take the cold water hose of the tap and see if it runs
if it runs replace the solenoid for the cold water valve

Keep geting F and H blinking on the screen

you could have a water valve problem,no water to machine,i've seen new water lines with shut offs built into the line that fail, put on regular burst proof water lines and the washer is fine, or a problem with the pressure switch located on right side of washer, take off the top of washer, you'll see a clear line going to the pressure switch, gently blow into the line and listen for a click,if it clicks the switch is ok, the last duet i worked on had same problem, just taking off the line from the pressure switch somehow reset the pressure switch and that's all i had to do it ran fine after that, also there is a flow meter located in between the water valve and the dispenser that can do this, hope this helps

Washer continues to fill with water, no shut off. I turn the connection off at the back of the washer when I hear the change in the water pressure and the washer then goes through the cycle. Solenoid? This...

You have a float valve that works much the same way that the float in your toilet tank works, either your float is leaking, (full of water), or the valve actuated by the float is bad.

Water not coming into my HE5 washer

Check that there is water coming from water supply, if not lines can be clogged or frozen.

If water is coming to the machine, but not entering into the drum, then it is a faulty inlet valve, or a faulty control, have parts tested and replaced.

What does IE on the display mean?

IE means inlet error. Most likely the washer took too long to fill, due to a plugged screen where the hose attaches to the inlet water valve. Frozen water line would do it also. Or a bad water valve.

Washer Impelling into Hot Water Line

this sounds impossible, hold old is the washer? how long are the hoses to the washer?is it the temp pressure valve on the heater that bursts? can you hear the water draining out the drain pipe, this machine don't go into spin till the water has been drained.

Kenmore HE4T Washer Leak

there are 2 possible causes.
either
inlet valve leaking - turn water off and if water fill stops, it indicates valve leaking
valve being powered when machine off. this is very unlikely but to check, disconnect washer and see if problem stops
also, if drain is plumbed into a spigot on the sink trap, every time you empty the sink, some of the water will flow into the machine. to cure this, take the drain hose as high as possible under the sink in a swan neck
