Hmmm..sounds like a memory overload..shut down machine, let the memory clear, and maybe reinstall the print management software..print queue issues are almost always from overloading the memory for the printer..
on the feeder issue, check for paper caught in tray or path, and clean the rollers too.

After printing on the front of paper then flipping it over to print. My 8600 plus is not feeding paper correctly even after changing the type of paper quality the paper still comes of with a portion not printed or the paper is torn or jagged on the edges.
My Hp Designjet 70 printer is only printing on half of the paper. The print heads stop at the mid point.
