There is a hissing sound on tv and when on the tv nothing appears does that mean the tv is totally gone. Brand of tv is Digihome.

Take it back it's still in warranty it's the power supply problem

Yes your player has gone into a wrong region make sure that if your tv is pal it must be pal NTSC will also make it go black and white check tv input and DVD player settings

First plug a other thing in the plug on the wall if it comes on then you know it's the tv power is a problem it could be that the power supply's has popped also there should be a button on the side of the tv some ware press it in or on make sure there

Digihome is not a brand unto itself. It is manufactured by a Foreign Country (I believe it's in Turkey) by the name of Tesco. Very large territories for sales in Europe of the Digihome label and a half dozen others. You will probably have to find a TV shop that will look at it for you as they have no service nor even their own. website.

If you mean by this that their is an occassional echo, then this is a frequent problem with digital reception and not a fault with your TV. This is a wide spread problem that doesn't appear to have a solution

is this happened either watching a tv channel or even watching dvd movies?. and then does the display only white screen or a totally black screen?.

I have had a really good look for this and it would appear that Digihome is also branded Techwood. They are sold in Tesco's so maybe a quick call to a Tesco Electrical store may yeild some results.

I presume you have tried the standard ones (i.e. 1234 & 0000)?

I would also try unplugging the unit for a good few minutes to see if removes the lock?

Hissing sound caused by input section RCA cables defected grounding maybe loosed or the RCA cables are defected already replaced it with new RCA cables so hissing sound is gone.
