Can someone tell me where to find a step by step procedure for replacing a hard drive in a Dell 4500s Dimension. I'm not talking about the physical part; that's simple. I need to know what I do step by step(software) after I have the drive replaced. Thanks for the help in advance.

Beware if you r trying to delete partitons coz you will loose all datas. better u take back up n try this method. rt. click on my computer then click manage there u select disk management where u will find ur partions dont do anything to c drive other drives can be deleted n created as per ur requirement. BE CAREFULL ALL UR DATA WILL BE LOST....

You can replace the hard drive with a larger capacity hard drive. Best bet would be a 250GB .
Hard drive have come down in prices, you should be able to get a 250 GB. for less then $100.
Western Digital ansd Seagate are my preference.
