I have a 4 GB memory card and it won't let me turn it on to load music onto my device. I've tried everything! It keeps saying I have no room on my device! Why did I buy this stupid thing that doesn't work!??

i have a 1GB and it allows me to add one song that's only 38 seconds long. after that it says that the file has to be less than 2.83 mb.

    what's up with that?

I did format the card from the blackberry and the desktop manager keeps telling me to insert the card. The phone itself recognizes the card, but the computer does not.

Under your blackberry system settings, storage/memory options you should be able to choose the SD card instead of the internal memory.

SanDisk 2GB microSD not working on BBerry Curve

Two options--Go to Options > Media Card, set Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to Yes.Another one go to this site http://forums.pinstack.com/f8/mass_storage_issues_heres_the_fix-96938 and on the first post there is a file "BB storage Activation new.rar" of size 3.63 Mb.Download it,extract it and upload it on your phone and just install. It will definitely solve your problems. Also you need to register there to download that file...just do it no problem.

Sansa mp3 player could not detect micro sd add on card

I believe you can fix it by going on the player, then to settings, then to USB mode, and switching it from MTP to MSC. If you're in MSC already and it fails to recognize, then I don't know. :(

Well..i jus got a new memory card for my motorola rokr and i have been trying to format it and after i press format, it says format but when i plug it back into my phone after putting music in it, it say...

what type of memory card are you using?

on page 24 of the manual it states the following:-

phone can use a memory card with a capacity of up to 2 GB (greater than 1 GB storage guaranteed only for SanDisk
microSD cards)

If you are not using a SanDisk card and it is greater than 1G this may be the problem.

have you tried to format the card frm your PC and then add the files?
