Drops wireless devises at any time. Had everything connect for 3 weeks and it just dropped everything - laptop, IPOD touch, Wii game consol. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it will not recognize anything.

Some people turn everything off at night and then when they turn things back on everything starts powering up. If you do this, it may be the problem because you have the modem and the router starting up at the same time. If the router finishes before the modem then it will drop.
Just make sure that you turn your wireless router on after the modem had booted up. This problem also happens when you have a power outage in the house and they both boot up at the same time.
When ever you are experiencing drops, just go unplug the wireless router then plug it back after about 30 seconds.
Your internet modem needs to be reset to find the router first. The modem will find the first address when rebooting the entire system or if something gets unplugged.. I've had great success doing the following: First of all turn off ALL computers, routers, modem ...everything... Then connect power to the main routing source... usually you've got your modem plugged into this.. Just start the router first with all ethernet cabling etc disconnected. Then secondly, connect power to the modem... As the modem connects, it will find the router ip address first... then you are set to turn on the wireless, and the other computers... and the router should designate proper ip addresses for all the peripherals and keep them connected without dropping someone off to allow the other address on... Hope this is clear.... So first the main router, then the modem followed by everything else... Let me know what happens ... and if you need more help...
It comes down to a few things with routers and wireless connections: 1. If you have been dropping the signal over the past few weeks try doing a test on the wireless network connection via the diagnostic tool within the specific wireless connection. 2. You may have gotten a bad update to the wireless card. Try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. 3. Try deleting the wireless connection for your router and then make 'a new' wireless connection.
OMG I have the exact same problem. I'll be using the router for a week on wifi just fine, then one time when my mac laptop comes out of sleep and tries to connect, the router drops its Wifi network (making it unjoinable for any device, not just my laptop) and I ultimately have to hard-restart it. SO frustrating, this is on v1 btw.
check if this problem is with both wired and wireless computers, if not with the wired..only wireless has problems, check if you have any other wireless device operating in the same frequency of the router..if s, turn off other devices and check b.cos that me interfere your w/ls connection, if wired is having the same problem, connect modem straight to the pc and observe the connection, so that you can isolate problem..
