That only means that the inkpad of your printer is already soaked by dried inks, this inkpad is the part of the printer is like a foam that absorbs excess inks when your printing, doing head cleaning, and head alignment, when it is soaked, the rprinter will stop working cause it can affect the output or print out, unfortunately, the inkpad is not a user replaceable part so either you go to service center, so they can replace it or better yet call epson if your printer is till coverd by 1 yr warranty, they should send you a replacement printer. thanks.

A Service Error where you get a message telling you that"Parts inside your printer at the end of their service life, contact yourdealer for replacement", or "Parts inside your printer requiremaintenance or replacement, call your service company", is normally aMaintenance Request Error. The maintenance request error is actually a WasteInk Ink Pad Error and usually your remedy is:

1. Replace the Waste Ink Pad/Pads with a new one/ones (many people ignore thisone, and they just follow #2)
2) Reset the Internal Waste Ink Pad Counter by using SSC Utility

I am getting an end of service life message. what

The printer is telling you that some parts are worn-out -- "end of life" -- and your printer either needs to have some parts replaced. Or, replace the entire printer, after comparing the cost with an estimate of parts/labour to fix the old printer.
