I recently bought an old motion computing m1300 tablet pc on ebay. It doesn't have a stylus with it. Could someone please tell me where I can find one that will work with this machine. I've spent days searching and still no luck. Thank you for your help and time. -Ron

Disconnect the battery, unplug it, then open it up. There should be a small round battery called the CMOS battery somewhere in there. Pull that out. Then plug your computer in and boot it up without the CMOS battery. It should say password disabled. Turn it off, disconnect it, put it back together, and you're good to go.
The stylus has a AAAA (yes, QUAD-A) battery in the body of the stylus - if this is dead, then the digitizer won't recognize the pen. That sounds like what is happening - the batteries can be found at bigger Radio Shacks or ordered online.
Question 1: Will the tablet operate on the docking station (or power cord) without the battery in place?
If not, the power circuit on the tablet motherboard is broken.
Question 2: If you plug in the power cord into the tablet, is the connection "loose"?
Check the other tablet to see if it is the same loosness at the tablet power connector.
If it is loose, the power receptical in the tablet can be soldered back onto the motherboard.
Recommend taking it into a shop to re-solder.
If under warranty, get it repaired.
If not under warranty, your choice if you want to use it they way it is.
Hello, In One Note 2003, the eraser is to the right of the pen. If for some reason you cannot see it anymore, you may reset ONE NOTE to its default options.
To do that (for ON2003) you click Help>Detect and Repair. In the window that pops up put a check mark in the box Discard my customized settings and restore default settings.
This should restore your toolbar.
Better yet, look for the small down arrow (with tooltip :toolbar options) and click it. >Add remove buttons >Standard . In the window that unfolds, make sure that the eraser is cheked. (For OneNote2003)
A common problem with the 1200/1300 models apparently. This can be resolved temporarily by rubbing your thumbs (a little pressure) along the bezel/screen edges at the sides of the dead band to re-establish edge connector contacts. I have 2 such dead bands (1 vertical & 1 horizontal), this technique works on one of them but not the other, still looking for a permanent solution, have tried Motion but they state that they no longer support this model but seem reluctant to offer any info for a home fixer. Any info anyone.
