No spray My Bissell Pro Heat 7901 will not put out any spray. I Took the pump out so I could get at it and disconnected the hoses. I put the one on the input side and the other in a bottle of water. Put the belt on the pump and turned on the machine .Nothing at all coming out of the pump. Where can I get a new pump? Also the lever that goes to the little flapper at the top under the clear plastic piece on the front that connects to the knob that changes from tools to floor broke off. Where can I get one of those? Thanks Gary no spray

Pump part number is 2107181, the diverter valve # 2136988. You can Bissell and they can tell you who may have parts near you, or you maybe able to order thru Bissell.com. Before you took it apart, were you getting water to spray out of the hose. If you were the the heater is plugged and won't allow water to spray out the bottom.

Bissell Pro Heat 7901 will spay through hose but not the floor and red flow indicator will not spin. So we took the housing off and after unclogging a hose running to the hearter, my husband unhooked the...

I borrowed my friends bissell to clean my carpet. It's the 7901. He brought it over and told me that it only sprayed out of the attachment hose. He said he couldn't figure out what was wrong. I'm no vacuum technician but, I am a mechnic. I decided to open her up and check it out. After about two hours it was back together and working. The reason I replied to your e-mail was because we have the same problem. I couldn't find an answer to this problem on this site so I will tell you what I found and hopefully it will help you. In removing the cover where the red heating light is, there is the heating unit for the water. In my case it is silver and it will get very hot so be careful. Notice that there is two water hoses connected to it. I removed this heater and found one of the connectors where the water hose goes was clogged. I took the back off the heater and used my air compressor to blow out the connector, and sure enough something flew out. Hope this helps. [email protected]

Bissell Proheat Pro-Tech #7901 will not spray any liquid to the carpet and red cross indicator is not turning, but comes out of attactments

The 7920 is a 220 volt version of the 7901. I found a shop in New Zealand of all places that has service manuals on line. They are sort of picture books, but using them has saved me a lot of money as it makes repairing much easier. Here's the link you'll need. Good luck. If you need any more help, just add a comment to your post and it will go to my e-mail and let me know. The heads you clean are just the outlet spray heads when they get gunky.

You can to bissell.com and order them thru them, or they can tell you where the nearest place is for parts by putting in your zip code.

Leaking from left wheel when applying trigger onmodel 7901

Sounds like a problem with the left spray nozzle, may be out of place. Either that or a line is loose and leaking. Either way you will have to pull the top housing off to check it over.

Water will not come out to do floor work

HI, I have a very similar Bissell. My problem was that after unscrewing the top plate and looking at the pipes the pipes feeding the front sprays were full of gunge blocking the sprayheads. I managed to flush it through by carefully removing the T connector that feeds the front 2 pipes, placing it back so it stuck out of one of the holes and replacing the water tank and turning on while holding it over a bucket. Black and white bits came out but it did flush through. I am thinking of doing a youtube video - let me know if this will help you!
