The only 1 inch round disc I can think of is the CD holder mounted on the motor spindle. It would be helpful if you could mention make and model # of the player in question.
The plastic piece that is moulded to the inner door that holds up the shelf on a fisher & paykel fridge has cracked and no longer holds the shelf. Can I buy a new door liner or does the whole door need to be replaced?
Getting inside a DVD drive would be tough. There are plastic components in these drives that can break or get pulled out of alignment with a bump. The slot is so small you probably won't be able to look inside either. You could try taking it out (disconnect the cables, remove the screws to take it out.) And if you get it out you can tip it upside down and maybe shake it out to see if any broken plastic pieces fall out. If they do...then that DVD player is probably toast. If nothing falls out then you may have knocked it out of it's track and you may be able to wiggle it back in. Here's the thing...you have to do something. So try to do some investigation and if you can't fix it...get a new one!
The magnet goes on the front piece of the detergent tray. You must be getting a "DDO" (Detergent Drawer Open) error message. When you removed the detergent tray for cleaning, you probably also removed the white plastic (front) portion of the drawer from the darker plastic reservoir portion. That's when the magnet fell out. That magnet has to be in place for the washer to function properly.
It goes into the white plastic portion of the detergent tray. It is placed in the vertical position just inside the vertical wall of the front portion of the drawer on the right side (of the detergent tray) as you are looking at the washing machine. You really have to look for its' location, but with some effort you will see a vertical slot with "plastic retaining clips" which hold the magnet in place.
Hope you are successful but if not, post another problem citing details about what you have tried. I tried to post this message to you twice already, but the web site will not accept it for some reason. Perhaps they want you to purchase their "professional" (spelled expensive) service to resolve problems. We'll see.
You control the volume by the amplifier or receiver that you plugged the tascam into. The only volume control on the tascam appears to be for headphones, the other volume control is for recording gain input.
When you press the buttons to operate the Cd drawers, do you still feel a click under your fingertip the same as the rest of the buttons. If not, the plastic piece may have broken away from behind the front panel assembly preventing the switches from operating be from the front panel. It may as you have already diagnosed be a part broken off the transport also.Only further investigation will determine this:) Can you still operate the unit from remote control?
The LCD display will use an incandescent lamp to back light it. this lamp will have failed. These are replaceable, the degree of difficulty varies from model to model. Pop the lip off and check if it is easily access. The worst cases need to have the LCD display removed to replace the lamp. Good Luck, thanks for checking with FixYa
