Go to the web site below and download your driver, then simply run the setup installer by double clicking on the .exe, it will then install your software and driver.

I think to no need to installation CD for netgear wireless router, just reset your router, press on reset button and other think in the bottom of router given your router IP. Type your IP in browser URL then set your all settings. If not solve your problem you can try on netgear support.
Try the following:
- Uninstall the linksys adapter driver on your PC
- Uninstall the netgear driver, and go to kb.netgear.com and get the latest driver.
- Try to insert the adapter into a different USB port. (try them all)
- Update your XP if you are still using SP1.
You must use the driver on the CD that came with the wna1100.
Do not use the latest version on the website.
I usually disconnect from the internet first when uninstalling virus protection. Go to the control panel located in your start button. chose add/remove programs. After the menu populates, find Norton. uninstall it. Or just uninstall it the way u know how. Then you are free to put a fresh install. Put in your cd and follow instructions. If it fails to auto start. You may need to explore the cd drive and find the setup.exe Double click it and you are on the way.
Are you trying to set up the router ? You can do it without the CD. You can do it manually.
First make sure that your computer is able to go online when connected directly to the modem. Then connect the modem and computer to the router and check the settings of the router.
No software needed for Mac or PC. You do need an ASDL account name and password. Your ISP should provide you with this info.
Connect with an ethernet cable any port on the unit to your computer network socket.
fire up a web browser and use the url:
http://192.168.0.1
This gives you the login screen.
use admin
as the login name and
password
as the password. If unit is second hand then reset to factory defaults by using a paper clip in the reset point on the rear of the unit (between the 4 ethernet ports and the asdl port)
You are then able to set up the router.
exact usermanual depends on which model version you have. (see label on base)
see this page and choose your exact model for full manual. http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/family/a_id/1288
Hey there Kjantzi, I have found the site for Netgear, and as I read it the update is one of the options but the drivers and firmware are there as well. Check here: http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WG111T.asp
Choose the version for your OS on the left, and it gives you detailed instructions, including the update process, if needed. If you still have problems let me know. Good Luck!
That gives you information about your wireless router.
Do you need a manual to set this up? It looks like there are different version of this wireless router. Which one do you have? This can be identified on the package or the unit's bottom label.
Once we know which version you have we can continue.
