Yahoo sign in not box not appearring to allow access

When you sign up for a free Yahoo! account, you gain access to the extensive features of the Yahoo! community and receive a free email account. As with any account, it is a wise idea to change your Yahoo! password a few times a year in order to ensure its security. Knowing where to go in Yahoo! to change your password will allow you to do it quickly.

Sign into your Yahoo! email account. Click on your Yahoo! name at the top of the webpage to access drop-down options. Select the "Profile" option. Your account page will open. Place your cursor over "Account Info" in the toolbar. Options will again drop down. Click "Change Password." Type in your current Yahoo! email password in the first text box. Enter your new Yahoo! password in the lower two text boxes. Click "Save." Your Yahoo! password is now changed.

I assume you wish to access email in a different Yahoo! Mail account. Yahoo! allows you to access only one account at a time. To sign in as a different user, you must first sign out from the account you are currently accessing.

To sign out from Yahoo! Mail, click on the "Sign out" link in the upper left corner of the web page:



Then go to the Yahoo! Mail page (http://mail.yahoo.com), and sign in with the new user ID and password.

Click Start, then Run...

type cleanmgr

Check off all of the boxes in the upper dialog box and click OK.

Restart the PC and try to log in to Yahoo mail again.

This action will remove all of the temporary files in windows, and may fix your issue.

IT WILL SHOW YOU AN EMAIL OPTION TO CLICK ON. CLICK ON IT TO GO TO YOUR TYPE ACCOUNT YOU ARE USING. THEN TYPE IN YOUR USER ID AND YOUR PASSWORD, THEN YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT WILL OPEN.
THEN YOU WILL SEE 'INBOX' OR 'MAIL' OR SOMETHING TELLING YOU A NUMBER BESIDE IT. THIS IS HOW MANY EMAILS YOU HAVE. MOUSE CLICK ON THIS TO OPEN AN EMAIL.

Hi, we now have several locations that are capable of accessing the Yahoo Instant Messaging feature.
Yahoo Messenger itself, plus Yahoo Web Messenger, Yahoo All New Mail, My Yahoo, your Mobile phone, plus any other computer.etc etc.
Yahoo classifies all these programs as different 'locations or devices'
Yahoo currently do not allow you to have 2 open and active at the same time. If you have one open, and then move to another, one will close and you get a message telling you that you have been signed out. You CAN have Messenger and Mail open together as long as your status is set to "offline" in MAIL by using the drop-box next to your name and selecting 'Sign out of chat'. ( your chat contacts will remove themselves from the inbox until you make yourself 'available' again.)
Please note:
You may think you are signed out of Messenger when this is not the case.
Hitting the 'X' when you close the Messenger page does not sign you out of Messenger it only closes that page - you have to Exit Messenger by right clicking the icon in the system tray.and selecting 'Exit' I suggest you make this setting. > (left click) Messenger > Preferences > General - check box "sign out of Messenger when I close the main window" > Apply > OK.
If the above does not apply and you suspect your account is being used by a hacker. When you get signed out, close all your Yahoo programs and type your name into this software. Hit "GO" and hopefully it will show you as "offline".

As a result, the screen resolution of 800 x 600 on many PCs will no-longer allow you to sign in. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768
